Trinity School Sixth Form
The Sixth Form at Trinity is a vibrant, intellectually stimulating and friendly place which benefits from the school’s excellent facilities, in particular a new Sixth Form centre.
When I started in the Sixth Form I was one of only 3 new boys. Thanks to the induction I got to know people quickly. I was really impressed with how interesting and entertaining the classes were. I could get involved, do lots of thinking and not worry about having to get it right all the time. I remember feeling pleased at how quickly I felt comfortable participating in class.
English, RS, Economics A Levels (AAA). Currently studying Philosophy at UCL.
I first heard about Trinity from my Ridgeway Primary friends who were pupils here. I didn’t particularly want to leave Riddlesdown Collegiate and change for Sixth Form but felt I owed it to myself to look at other options. I found the Open Evening very impressive and got the impression that the girls were really well looked after.
English, History, Maths A Levels (A*A*A). Studying History at Oxford.
I remember being hugely over-excited when I started! My first day at Trinity was for an orchestra rehearsal before lessons had even started and I thought how nice the older students were. A really good feature of the School is the all girls’ tutor groups where I have established a key group of friends. The work was initially quite difficult but I also loved the challenge.
English, Music and Biology (A*A C). Studying Music at Manchester.
I started at Trinity in 2007 as a J-Bug (Year 6 pupil) from Gordon Primary. My first impression was that of a very busy school with loads of activities. My tutor, Mr Mazur, encouraged me to take part in clubs straightaway and, as I played the cello, to immerse myself into music. I began piano lessons when I started at Trinity and now it has become my main instrument. I also took up the bassoon in the First Form. Music here is phenomenal.

My brother came to Trinity and had a really good experience, so considering Trinity for my Sixth Form was a natural option for me. When I came to Open Evening, it confirmed all my brother had told me about the opportunities and experiences that he’d had in the Sixth Form, which was the highlight of his school life.
