Support us with your expertise
In a fast changing and competitive global market we encourage our alumni, parents and friends of the School to share their knowledge, skills and experience with our pupils past and present.
Careers advice is invaluable in whatever form it takes. We hold careers evenings that focus on specific areas such as Finance, Law and Health related professions.
Careers Evenings for 2017-8 - Would you like to be involved?
We now have details of the themes for the Careers Evenings this academic year. If you live close enough to school to be available in the evening from 6.30-9.15pm and would like to join the speaker panel for any of them, our Head of Careers, Mrs Sue Highmore, would love to hear from you. You can contact her on firstname.lastname@example.org or 020 8656 9541.
Tuesday 17th October 2017
Careers connected to the sports industry: we have some speakers already, but are still looking for a sports journalist or sports lawyer.
Wednesday 29th November 2017

clinical, technical and management side of these industries.
February 2018 (date to be confirmed)
STEM industries: for example, careers connected with engineering,
research science, construction, geology, alternative energy generation, oil and gas exploration or chemical processes.
Whatever your expertise, we would be delighted to hear from you if you would like to share your experience at a careers evening, or by offering careers advice by email or telephone
The School runs a large number of clubs and societies and are always looking out for speakers
Can offer a young person a short work experience placement or a work shadowing opportunity?
Internships and graduate opportunities
Getting a foot on the first rung of a ladder in the workplace can be a daunting and demoralising experience for a young person. Can your company offer an internship or a position for a graduate?
Our careers department organises an evening of practice interviews for our Upper Sixth in November each year. This year, he event will be held on Thursday 10th November from 5 pm.
Practice interviews can also be organised on an ad hoc basis.
